More local music!

I love whys, and ive been listening to it since i discovered it maybe a year ago. I often listen at night, and its good news. But I wish there were a show devoted to just playing local music, or at least more emphasis on it. I was toying with the idea of applying for DJ so I could make that happen, but im afraid I wouldnt be able to devote enough time to it. I love alot of the bands around here though. If anyone wants to colaborate on such an endeavor, I would be glad to help. It is a community station, after all.

Check out Friday nights at 8-10pm. DJ Jodi does the music box. Features local music with some other mixed in. ALL LOCAL BANDS ARE ENCOURAGED TO SUBIMT MUSIC. We've built up a nice collection, but there are so many bands and so many different types of local music.

Many other shows also play local music - as much as will fit into their shows, but you can always call the station and make requests, or check out the DJ Chat.
