Why Donate?

WHYS is establishing itself as a leader in community media.  Our vision for the future includes developing innovative new shows, increasing community leadership, and providing more content and services on the airwaves and beyond. As we are people powered, and people funded, your donation will help WHYS to:

1. Maintain financial stability, increase the number of listeners, and keep us connected to the communities we serve.

2. Expand our service through new technology, such as streaming and Podcasting, and by providing more content and features on www.whysradio.org.

3. Continue developing new and innovative programming. WHYS' adventurous music, news & public affairs, and community shows make the station unique. By exploring new ideas and cultivating new talent, WHYS can continue to bring you the best radio in Eau Claire.

4. Invest in community and public affairs. WHYS' locally-focused programming and grassroots public affairs programs provides an important service to our listeners, covering issues, people and communities not represented in the mainstream media.
